PETIKAN LECTURE SAYA VTO MODUL 3


Salah satu modul VTO yang terdapat dalam laluan latihan (Training Pathway)  ialah  Membangunkan Pengajaran (Course Design). Pertama kali yang perlu dilakukan ialah mengenalpasti bidang pekerjaan atau jawatan. Oleh kerana kurikulum yang akan dibangunkan adalah  berorientasikan pekerjaan sebenar atau alam sebenar, maka wajarlah seseorang itu mengambil kira pasaran luar sama ada kerajaan atau swasta. Fikirkanlah sebarang pekerjaan. Tidak kira apa pekerjaan contohnya:  Tukang Kasut, Penarik Beca, Pemandu Teksi, Kerani, Pegawai Deaerah dan seumpamanya mengikut jabatan atau organisasi masing-masing

Selepas  itu anda memilih satu-satu pekerjaan katakanlah Pemandu Teksi anda dikehendaki membuat kajian tentang tugas-tugas dan tanggung jawab seorang pemandu teksi. Ingat saya ulang sekali lagi Tanggung jawab dan Tugas. Ini lah bermula timbulnya istilah Duty dan Task dalam NOSS ( National Occupational Skill Standard). Saya ingin menekankan Duty adalah bermaksud tanggung jawab dan Task ialah tugas dalam konteks piawaian kemahiran. Saya ingin bertanya kepada anda semua, apakah tanggung jawab dan tugas pekerjaan atau jawatan sekarang atau bolehkah anda senaraikan 10 tanggung jawab dan tugas bagi jawatan dan pekerjaan anda sekarang. Daripada jawatan atau pekerjaan anda boleh anda bangunkan satu silibus atau kurikulum yang berkaitan dengannya.

Organize on the job training programme using list of industries and activities, institute annual planner, industries' procedures and requirements, standard operating procedures, management information system, organization chart, course content, budget allocation and logistical support so that  industries and activities and OJT requirement identified, schedule and report of industrial training produced, industrial training arranged, job placement organized, OJT implementation monitored in accordance with Federation of Malaysaian Manufacturers (FMM) procedures and requirements.

MY NEW BLOG


MY DEAR FRIENDS,

I have just created my blog today 1st January 2015. Perhaps this could be a new vision and mission of the year 2015. Hopefully, the blog will be  helpful to all my friends, students, clients, children as well as to me. The purpose of this blog mainly is to share ideas and generate thoughts on my educational works especially those involve in Vocational Training Officer (VTO), Vocational Training Executive (VTE), Vocational Training Manager (VTM). However, information the full time course and normal RPL will be shared in this blog.

Furthermore, the program VTO, VTE, VTM fast track single tier is part of the methods of pursuing the certificate or diploma /advanced besides the normal attending class or normal recognition of prior learning (RPL). Lets have a glance to the summary as follows:

                                   1.  Normal Class:    3 mths face to face + 6 mths internship              
                                   2.  Normal RPL:  3 to 6 mths
                                   3.  Fastrack:  3 mths to 4 mths (depending on the queue )

                                       
Before entering such program participants or candidate must be  at first well verse on the functions and the job scope of the VTO, VTE, and VTM. Study the duties and tasks of the program on the Job Profile Chart. Interpret and understand the requirements of each tasks. Then, ask yourself whether the tasks do related with your current job. Most important try to get as much information from CIAST
or any former participants, friends etc.
